Hey, I’m Robert.
I’ve been into photography since I was 14 when I picked up my first camera the Canon 400D while doing GCSE Photography. I also did A-Level Photography, which helped me learn even more.
Before the 2021/22 sports season, I didn’t really know how much fun sports photography could be. After coming back from Covid, I took the chance to become the Moseley Colts photographer, and I’ve loved it ever since. In 2022/23, I focused my lens on the Moseley Women’s team, capturing the spirit of a sport that grows stronger and more vibrant with every season—women’s rugby. Since then, I’ve returned each year, proud to document their journey and the ongoing rise of the game.
Every frame I capture holds a quiet rhythm of the game, painting stories in light and shadow that linger long after the crowd has gone.
The summer of 2022 marked a milestone when I was named runner-up in Rugby Journal’s Youth Rugby Photographer category. Each year since, I’ve entered with hope in my heart and a determination to grow, dreaming of the day I’ll take the top spot.
While my heart is often on the rugby pitch, the same passion for action and timing extends to every sport I cover. Weather it's the pace of football, the precision of the golf and cricket, or the grit of an Aquathon, I bring the award-nominated standard to every game. I don't just take photos; I document the journey of the athletes and the clubs that make the sport happen
Starting from the 2025/26 season, I’ll also be doing videography for all of Moseley 1st team’s home games, which I’m really excited about!
Below that, you’ll see some photos of my work featured on club websites, with photo credits.
